I have been trying to prepare my body to run for a half marathon. Started training a couple of weeks ago. Love long runs! Though now I can't run as much because I have a plantar fasciitis in my right foot :(
I wanted to run my half-marathon at the end of April and now I don't think it's going to happen. At least I can still run, my physiotherapist suggests that I run short runs a couple of time of weeks instead of long runs.
These were taken in Old Montreal during lunch time runs - beautiful place to run!

Nice shots, love the framing you did on the first one too.
Those are some beautiful storm clouds along with very interesting urban/recreational area mix!
And I'm sorry about the injury - it is so hard to stay excited about running when dealing with something like that. Hopefully you'll find a later season race to catch your interest.
The first one is my fav! So sorry to hear about the injury. Hope it heals soon.
I am sorry to read of your injury - I know that this is something you have been working towards for more than a few weeks. Keep the dream, just on extended time frame. I am confident that you will succeed in making that run eventually. In the mean time - be careful on these paths - they look a little slick to me - but then I am challenged enough on the treadmill.
