Distillery - Toronto

While we were in Toronto, even though it was snowing and cold, we walked through the Distillery, a beautiful historic site! It represents the largest and best preserved collection of Victorian Industrial Architecture in North America!! Now, they use it for coffee shops and small quaint shops. Beautiful site!

Not sure why they hang up shoes...??!!

As you can see, it was snowing!! :)

St. Lawrence Market, Toronto

As you can see from the second photo, it was a cold, rainy, dark day, so we decided to go visit St. Lawrence Market in Downtown Toronto. It's huge!!!

Stopped myself from buying those...

And these... mmmmm. love licorice!

They had so many different kinds of rice!

and cookies, oh my!!

Was good, didn't buy any!! ;)

Doors... and chairs!

First off, Pat, you have a good eye, the cute guy... was Ben!! ;)

We managed to spend a little time outside even though it was cold - but we did enjoy also Toronto underground... too bad I didn't take any photos!! You can walk for miles and miles and miles without going outside!! We could go from our hotel to Eaton Centre (which is a huge shopping centre) without our coats which was great when it was pouring rain!!

Think I have said before how I love old doors!! While walking through Toronto, saw many different doors that had so much character... just had to shoot them!! :)

And when I saw these two old chairs - just thought they were so cool!! ;)

I think this door was from a hairdresser shop before ...

Toronto Santa Claus Parade

Last Sunday in Toronto was cold - but that didn't stop families, couples, friends and kids to gather in downtown Toronto to see the Santa Claus parade!! We didn't stay to see the parade - but had fun seeing all the people waiting for the big event!!

Love the tree hats!!

Cute reindeer!

A lot of people bring chairs, warm blankets... and even some ladders and wood to make higher seats!! Impressive!

Nothing better than spending time with your best friend while waiting for the parade!

Saw this cute guy on the street and had to take his photo :)

I think the wait is getting to be a bit long for this cutie!

Lots of Santa hats!

Even a Santa Claus wanna be is there waiting!!

Even sleeping bags are brought to keep warm!! Love her hat!

Lots of signs to attract the attention of the big guy!

Having fun while waiting for the parade...

Looking for the parade??!!

Brrrrrr... so cold!! :)
