Brooklyn

For Canadian Thanksgiving, we took a few days off and took a road trip to New York City (yeah, again!). This time, we went with my sister-in-law who had never been. What a fun trip!!

The first morning, we took the subway to Brooklyn Heights and visited the neighbourhood. Love this place!!

Be interesting to know if any of that was damaged by the storm this week. Glad you went when you did. I always enjoy your archiecture photos - just copying Nikki's spelling on that big word there cuz I don't know how to spell it either.

glorious doors and fabulous architecture as Nikki pointed out. There is something so New York about brownstones and the magical stairways, one after the next.

Like Susan, as I looked at these beautiful buildings I wondered if any of them were damaged by the storm.
