Love the name of this park - it's true that it's a lovely place to visit!! :)
I know nothing about birds - but I just thought this one was beautiful! It was trying really hard to catch a fish!! I love this park for the mix of old and green!
WOW, that bird REALLY wants to catch a fish! LOL! I just LOVE that falling down building with the ivy growing- that is AWESOME! What a gorgeous, lush, peaceful place. Sigh.

great pictures..that concrete "building" would be awesome for pictures.
GORGEOUS shots. I especially like the old building too.
Love the old building and all that greenery...gorgeous. That bird looks like a black-crowned night heron.
I do love bird photos! Of course I had to grab my Audubon book and try to identify, and I agree with Pat.
How gorgeous! I love the mix of old and green too!
That place looks heavenly for sure. I love all of the green. I think the rain this year has really helped to make the northeast so lush this season.
You need to so join our peas on earth challenge, k? LOVE all your nature shots.
I really like the 3rd photo and the way the little door/window opening just captures my eye. Cool perspective!
The water looks so dreamy. You have the absolute best scenery.
Looks like a really neat place! That first shot is great!!!

What a neat place. Love all the green and the intensity of the color. The ivy is beautiful.
