Visitation Island

Love the name of this park - it's true that it's a lovely place to visit!! :)

I know nothing about birds - but I just thought this one was beautiful! It was trying really hard to catch a fish!!

I love this park for the mix of old and green!

When we went back - the bird was still there!!

WOW, that bird REALLY wants to catch a fish! LOL! I just LOVE that falling down building with the ivy growing- that is AWESOME! What a gorgeous, lush, peaceful place. Sigh.

Love the old building and all that greenery...gorgeous. That bird looks like a black-crowned night heron.

I do love bird photos! Of course I had to grab my Audubon book and try to identify, and I agree with Pat.

That place looks heavenly for sure. I love all of the green. I think the rain this year has really helped to make the northeast so lush this season.

I really like the 3rd photo and the way the little door/window opening just captures my eye. Cool perspective!
