Important Women in my Life

Great topic this week. So many women have helped me become ... me!! Most important one - my mother. She was a wonderful, warm, funny, caring and loving woman. She loved her family with all her heart and loved to cook and bake - My love of baking, I learned from her! At a young age, I used to love baking with her!!
She got sick with cancer when I was a teenager - I hated seeing her suffer so much :( - She passed away when I was 18 and I still miss her to this day. Merci maman!
Sorry for the old pics... I don't have a scanner - so had to take some photos... of my photos!! ;)

Merci maman!

I also lost my mom to cancer but I was quite a bit older.

Oh, she was so beautiful! How hard to lose her at such a young age! My dad died when I was 20, and I think these experiences sadly make us suddenly grow up fast

On a lighter note, where did you see the cupcake holder, because I seriously want one!

I can't believe that's a picture of the picture--great job! I love seeing these older photos; it's so cool. I only wish you could still have her with you to take a photo of her today.
