Another person that meant a lot to me as I was growing up was my grand-mother (my mother's mother). She babysat us all the time and we loved spending time with her. She was very patient with us as kids and loved playing cards with both my brother and I. She passed away 10 years ago at 97 years of age.
Some very old pics - I would say about 1920. My grand-mother hated cameras - she ran away whenever we tried to take a pic!!!
When she passed away, I inherited some special jewelry that means so much to me. My grand-mother alway wore these earings and necklace whenever there was a special occasion. Just looking at these make me happy!! :)
Merci grand-maman! :)
