Today is cold and blah... still forced ourselves to go for a long walk - went on the South Shore for an 1 1/2 hour walk... Not many pictures worth taking - too cold and grey!! That's why most of my pics I turned to black and white!!
As you can see.. still a bit of snow on the ground!
Still some Christmas decorations ... are we in November??!!! ;)
This is a view of Montreal coming back from the South Shore. I am putting some money aside to buy a nice zoom - this is the best I can do with my Pentax...
And finally, some good news, crocuses are finally coming out in my yard... yeah!!!!!!!

LOVE the contrast in the 3rd B&W shot; it fits the mood of the photo perfectly. The color on those crocuses (croci?) is wonderful! They look so brave and hardy.
I'm sure it seems dark and dreary to you. But for me, it's very crisp, creative and mysterious. That lost shot is so pretty though!
I love pictures with snow in them, because I NEVER have it. The black and whites are cool. I also really liked the one taken up through the tree. Spring is coming, I promise, lol.
It's in the last picture-I found it! Sorry you still have snow, but it makes for great pictures.

I really like the last one! Beautiful color emerging from the grey! Good for you for taking a 1 1/2 hour walk! I was too bummed out by the grey and cold to do anything today!

That second one is my favorite; I love the composition and the puddles. Yay on the crocuses!
Awww, poor you! It sure does look gray and dreary there still. But those crocuses are a very promising thing- that means spring really IS coming! :)
I like the mood the first few set. Wow walking in cold and then for that long. I better start getting out and enjoying my sunshine more.

Those moody black and whites are so indicative of our Spring around here lately. We're just starting to see it lift. I love the crocuses at the end.
