Scrolling through the photos quickly I was struck the the golden yellows in so many of the photos! Such a wonderful color for a city!

I think what I love most about old buildings is the attention to detail and the individuality, like all the non-standard sized and shaped windows, unusual transoms over the doors,etc.
There is something to be said for the sleek styles of more modern buildings but the quirkiness of the best old buildings is hard to bet, especially for photographic interest.
