The day after a Snow Storm

We got a huge snowstorm between Christmas and New Year's Eve. More than 40cm (more than a foot of snow!). The day after, I went for a nice long walk - beautiful day - but snow everywhere!! IMG_8004_edited-1

Looks like fun to tramp around in all that snow with your camera in hand!

Reminds me of my youth. (I grew up in Montreal).
I'm pretty sure I recognize one of those shots as a part of Lachine just south of the two and twenty.

That IS a lot of snow! We haven't had much snow, or even rain this winter . . . we need some moisture! Although, quite frankly, I'd prefer if the moisture came in the Spring . . .

WOW ... I am hoping for some snow but not that much.

Now that is what I call snow. We haven't had one of those in years (which, at this stage of the game for me, is perfectly okay). Yesterday we only needed a sweater by mid afternoon. I don't want freezing cold, but perhaps a little colder. (or not - as I said, at this stage of the game ....!!!)
