My icing technique needs a little work, too! I am very slow. My family prefers to watch paint dry than watch me ice cookies. I iced the gingerbread men for Christmas Eve and it took me hours!
But truly, the important part is that they taste delicious, right? Feel free to send me all the bad ones. We'll make them disappear.

Icing cookies is hard. I think you have to use a certain kind of icing.
But, like you said, who cares what they look like as long as they taste good!

I think you did fine. It takes lots of practice (so I am told) to get them perfect and who wants perfect cookies anyway?
