Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins

I think I take too many pictures of my muffins...

Then, I have trouble narrowing them down to post them on my blog...

And also some oatmeal -so they are healthy!! ;)

They were so easy to prepare - 10 minutes top and they were in the oven!

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins
makes 12 muffins
from allrecipes.com

1/2 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup packed brown sugar (used a little less)
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup applesauce
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with applesauce to the creamed mixture. Stir in oats and chips. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.

hush yo mouth! there is no such thing as too many pictures of your baked confections. These sound very good -and the quick and easy aspect is even more appealing. I might give them a try with artificial brown sugar to maybe aid a little more with the "healthy" side.
