When I saw this recipe in Coup de Pouce magazine, I knew that it wouldn't be long until I baked this bread!!

I brought some at the office and it was a bit hit!

I had a piece at home with some Nutella spread on top... mmmmmmm!!!

Chocolate Banana Bread
(Coup de pouce)
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 big bananas, mashed
1/2 cup natural yogurt (I used vanilla yogurt)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 beaten egg
3/4 cup white sugar (used a little less)
1/4 cup vegetale oil (used canola)
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 oz dark chocolate, cut in small pieces

In a big bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
In another bowl, mix the bananas, yogurt and baking soda. Let sit this mix.
In a third bowl, mix the egg, sugar, oil and vanilla.
With a wooden spoon, mix the banana mix to the egg mix. Add this mix to the dry ingredients and mix until well incorporated. Add the chocolate.
Put the dough in a 9 po x 5 po bread pan that is slightly oiled.
Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let sit to cool down about 10 minutes.

This looks so delicious! Chocolate and banana seem to be made for each other.

That looks so yummy! I won't even eat banana bread unless it has chocolate chips...but that goopy chocolate looks even better!
