Before the Cold...

I am not a big fan of Winter... even less when it's -29C when you leave in the morning (my walk to the bus at 5:40 a.m. to go to the gym was painful)... I would rather have snow!

So here's some shots taken before the cold - these were taken last weekend when it was "warm" and it had just snowed a few centimetres!

Love this park behind my house - the apple trees are beautiful every season!

Winter Wonderland

Picnic anyone?

The walkway is simply gorgeous in that first shot, and those chairs are very interesting. I admire your fortitude at being on a bus heading to the gym by 5:40. I'm up packing lunches in the warmth of the house - which is much less demanding.

Yes, winter is so much easier to live with when there is snow. Be sure to share the apples trees with us come spring bc they are lovely now I bet they are fab in their spring gowns :)

Apple trees? I have learned to loath apple trees! I have two on a corner of my lawn and they drop the most awful little apples that are not even good for baking. Even the squirrels refuse to eat them! Then they fall and make the worst mess and I have to hire neighborhood kids to pick up the hundreds of apples that fall on the ground. I must admit, they do look pretty covered in snow, but I can't forget how much work those trees are!

WOW - you managed to keep so much detail in the snow! Looks great! Also, the last one seems to have a nice bit of vintage coloration that looks great on it!
