Churches and Quebec Specialty

Before going to work, had the pleasure of walking around some beautiful churches. This one is near the subway and I see it every morning.

This one is in the middle of downtown Montreal - there is even an underground shopping centre under it!

It is Saturday, and as a reward for being good all week (went to the gym, ate all my veggies!) - we made ourselves a "poutine".  It's a Quebec specialty - french fries, gravy and cheese... mmmmm! I worked it out after - just did Jillian Michaels' "Banish Fat Boost Metabolism" dvd - ouch - she kicked my butt!!

Mmm... I miss poutine! I went to college just across the border from Canada and we would drive up just for the fatty goodness.

Love the cross/church photo! Great perspective!

The churches are beautiful. I really like the processing in the 2nd on. It allows so much more detail than the blues and I love seeing every tiny detail in archetecture! As for the poutine, I think I just gained 4 lbs looking at it! wow...yummy!

Beautiful church shots. I am grateful that I am not a bit french fry fan - otherwise, that poutine would be tempting.

Really love the second one, the perception and the processing. And those fries, oh my.

I have been to both, Montreal and Quebec and loved them both. Both my husband and I want to go back. There's so much to see!
