Historic Seaport of Hickford (1709)

2nd day at East Matunuck - woke up early and went for a long walk at the beach and even on the rocky pier! It was still very foggy, as you can see!! :)

Had breakfast, then went for a short drive to visit Hickford - a beautiful historic village (300 years of history!)
Visited this beautiful old church - still has no electricity - when there is church service - they do it with candles!

Another beautiful old church - St-Paul's Church

And this I found too cute - a puppy pub!!

One of the beautiful street of this little village

Would have liked to have more time to learn about this city - full of history!

We had lunch by the water - it was beautiful and hot - and the view was wonderful!

As you can see... it was very very hot!!

Beautiful old house

Not sure why they named their house that way...

I'm guessing the name of that house came from taking out a big mortgage. I'm enjoying these vacation photos--the restaurant one is my favorite of this bunch.
