Bonsai!

Sunday was rainy and cold, so convinced Ben to come to the Botanical Garden with me to walk around - hadn't been in such a long time - what a beautiful place!!

First place we went through - the bonsai section - WOW!

So much detail
Liked this one - looks so old!

This next one is 105 years old!! :)

I love bonsai trees! The Weyerhauser Corp (big lumber concern) has an incredible stunning collection that they open to the public at times. The patience required to tend a bonsai is mind-boggling. Love the diversity of trees and shapes in these shots.

These are beautiful! I am always fascinated by bonsai trees. My husband gave me one years and years ago, but sadly after trying hard to help it thrive for several years it died :(
