Cool Building and Strong Man

Cool building on our walk in St-Henri - no idea what they use it for now!

St-Henri is the hometown of the statue of the strongest man in Quebec - Louis Cyr. here's his story http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/cool/002027-2103-e.html

That is the coolest statue! The building reminds me of the quonset huts that were built during WW2...

I agree, it's a quonset hut. My uncle lived in one for years. My mom said the noise was awful when it rained. ;)

Those are some big balls on that dumbell. ;)

The places you find are SO rich...I just want to eat them up. I really love seeing your city through your lens. The strong man is so interesting too!

You've got to live in one the coolest cities ever. So many neat sites. I'd be like a kid in a candy store for sure!

Celine, I love the texture-like lines in the first photo. And you have a great way of getting a wonderful POV in your statue photos. . . I've decided you are agile and limber! Celine, is your fisheye a circular fisheye or rectangular? (probably a dumb quesion). Also, what mm is it? (I'm still debating!)
