Icy Roads

Quebec City is about a 2 1/2 drive from Montreal... in good weather!! No such luck when we went!! It was icy!! We saw so many cars in the ditch!! Couldn't wait to get to my destination!!

When we got up on Sunday, this is what the car looked like:

Ice was everywere

Ice is pretty as long as we don't have to drive in it or lose our power, right? Sorry you got stuck driving. Beautiful shots, though. Looks like we're in for some more ice tomorrow.

Only too familiar! I hope you carry lock de-icer IN YOUR POCKET, not the car. But, being in Quebec, I'm sure you have all this down. I really like how your last photo looks, and I bet it would be great as a b&w.

I love the way ice looks but driving on it is something else entirely. Luckily it's been a pretty mild winter in Denver this year!

Very pretty, but what a pain to have to scrape the ice off the windows!

Oh BRRRR! I guess in Edson where my son is, it's cold like that, too! The subject line on one of his e-mails recently was, "The Coldest Day of My Life!"

Wow, these pictures are beautiful! I really love the first picture with the cars, but wouldn't want to live the moment in person, so scray! But the photo is beautiful!
