Happy birthday Gisele!

Today is Gisele's birthday - I made her a handmade card...

Made her some Quick-One-bowl-Brownies-104299

 and knitted her a cute scarf (my first one with the Knifty Knitter!!).

 So it was a handmade birthday for Gisele.  Bonne fête ma belle!

Christmas Cards for a Good Cause

A silent auction was organized at my office to raise some money for a good cause. They asked us to bring something artistic ... so I tried my hand at making Christmas cards!! And somebody bought them!!! Yeah!! ;)

The colors are bad because I took these photos at the last minute, in a conference room, so the lighting was real bad!!

Cards and Flowers

First off, thanks so much for your wonderful comments on my photos of Ogunquit! I am sad too that I have finished editing them... it seems like I was still there while I was going through them!! Can't wait for our next trip - probably at the end of the Summer - and probably camping somewhere near a beach - will be fun to document again!! :)

I started taking more photos as I starting scrapbooking a couple of years ago. This year, I started making cards - and I love it!! I made this card and enveloppe for a girlfriend's birthday at my office this week. Did see this in a magazine and decided to play with it - loved the results!!





And as I was going through my pics, found those that I had taken when we got back from Ogunquit. The trees in the park near my house were in full bloom - it was raining a bit - and it looked like a carpet of white petals - it was sooooo beautiful!!
