Had a great long weekend. Can't believe it's over!!
Made these a couple of weekends ago for a friend. They are so easy to prepare and oh so cute!
They were a bit too sweet to my taste (is that possible??!!) but I am sure kids would love these!!
Cake Batter Crispy Treats
howsweeteats.com
3 tablespoons butter
1 10-ounce bag of mini marshmallows
1/4 cup yellow cake mix
6 cups rice krispies cereal
1 1.75-ounce container of sprinkles
Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat and add marshmallows. Stir until they begin to melt, adding in cake mix one spoonful at a time so its combined. Stir in cereal so it is completely coated with marshmallow mixture. Sprinkle in half of the sprinkles and mix. Press into a baking dish (any size will do) and top with remaining sprinkles. Let sit for about 30 minutes before cutting. I find spraying a knife with nonstick spray helps to cut them.
I used a mix of blue, red and pink sprinkles!

Oh, those do sound sweet, but they sure look yummy!
My kids used to love these when they were younger, but they haven't asked for these in a long time. Maybe it's time to make them a batch!
This look delicious! Your food shots are always fantastic...love the depth of field and presentation :)
Those look good. I think I gained a couple of pounds just looking at them. ;)
