The maggies are pretty but just think, they don't last long and then they are a pile of disgusting brown soggy petals on the ground. When your dandies are done, you have all those wonderful white puffy seed heads to photograph! They are twice as versatile as the magnolias!

Take a little of your yard and mix in some mole mounds and you have some of our yard. Your neighbor's tree is very pretty.
