Thank you

Thank you all for your sweet words yesterday. Yesterday was hard and today is a bit better. Still find myself calling his name and looking for him. It will take some time but life goes on. Meanwhile, my other cat, Grizzly doesn't seem to have noticed that she is missing a brother... Cats!! Probably she will notice when we are back to work tomorrow and she is alone all day! She has been doing what she does best... sleeping!

Went for a walk to clear my head - and went to a small farm near my home. Maybe I could adopt him and bring him back home?? Think Grizzly would notice??!! ;)

Thanks again for your words of encouragement - warms my heart!!

Awww. You are right, it WILL be hard for a while. And I'm sure Grizzly does notice, maybe sleeping is his way of coping? Cute donkey... I always thought I'd like to have one for a pet too!

Is that a donkey? Or mule? Or something else? I'm way too city-fied! I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. :)

Glad to hear that today was a bit better. My other cat noticed immediately that something was wrong. She NEVER plays with the cat toys (except Christmas morning), but the day I had to Marley down, she went and pulled out all of their toys from the cat basket and lined them up (still moves me). Keep your chin up and I'm sure there will be another meower in your house to keep that Grizzly in line.

Sorry for your loss. I've lost a few pets too. But in September it was really hard when we lost blaze...our new puppy. I'm sure anyone will notice the JA if you brought it home.

It's been over 2 years and I still look for Duffy when I come home.

Nice donkey but I want to see you train him with the litter box. ;)

It sucks loosing a pet, I wish they could live forever in ways. I do have to say having a burro would be kind of fun maybe.

HOpe you are feeling better tonight, Celine. I'm sure Griz does notice in his own way; cats just are too cool to let on. Big hugs!

If you do adopt him, I bet he'll eat a lot more than KitKat! Beautiful green eye in your kitty.

Awww...I am so sorry about KitKat. Animals are just as hard to loose as humans in our lives. I think you seriously should bring home the donkey. I bet Grizzly would at least raise an eyebrow.

I don't quite think a donkey will go unnoticed. :) I'm so sorry for your loss.
