Montreal Chinatown

Went for a walk during my lunchtime break and decided to walk through Chinatown. Don't go there very often, but after seeing all the photo opportunities there, will surely go again!!
Two big statues on each side of the street welcome you to Chinatown!
Love all the colors and different packaging they have!

Such beautiful signs!

In one of the many little stores
Dried fish anyone? :)
Please check my "Pay it Forward" post below :)

Oh man--what a cool place! That store looks so neat, and the fishy was perfect for those shots. One of these days I need to get down to the International District in Seattle...they have a cool Chinatown.

Great shots. I just got done with supper not long ago. These made me hungry again but I'm going to bed soon. I'm SO tired.

Ah, Chinatown in any city is a familiar sight. All those reds, yellows and great calligraphy. You didn't mention the smell though.... (ALL Chinese groceries have a distinctive smell - must be those fish!)

Oh my goodness! Those stores are so full of beautiful color and interestingness! (not a word I don't think) I don't think I would care for dried fish, but I bet its really good for you.

These are so cool, you always go to the best places. Dried fish sounds not so appetizing to me though lol.

The fisheye really works well for places likes Chinatown. . . really captures the sense of color and bounty of detail well.
