Becky and Pat got it half right!! :)

Yup - Bahsten (as Pat said!) or Boston as Becky recognized was part of our trip!! The other part was visiting the coast of Rhode Island! Heard about this beautiful area from a few girlfriends at work and we are so glad we went!! Will tell you all about it for the next week or so!! ;)

Left early 10 days or so ago... and had to stop for an iced coffee at McD... didn't think it would be as sweet... but still enjoyed it on our road trip!!


We rented a little house less than 1/2 mile from the beach - the water was warm and the beach was not too crowded during the week.


After spending a couple of hours at the beach or visiting nearby towns - this is how we ended our days in our little house (nice change from the camping we have been doing the last few years!!)




And this is the view we had when we got up in the morning, when we read and had a drink, when we ate at night outside and even from our bed!!
The mornings were pretty foggy - but made for interesting photos!






And this was taken while I was enjoying my Corona! ;)

    OH, YES!!! Nothing I love better than beach shots!!!! That 3rd one, and the one with the drift fence in the fog just rock my boat. What a great place for a vacation! I love the vicarious vacations I've been taking on Peas this summer! :-)

    delicious....the light looks perfect and your vaca is my dream. I live in Maine, and I can't think of a better way to spend a vaca than right on the east coast! Glad to see you had so much fun. I love the shot with the fence and the boat.

    Very cool perspectives in these shots. Did you use a long lens, and then get "compression". . . (If this makes no sense, ignore it! I'm just trying to figure out lens things! )
