Lucy and Cape May

As we were leaving Atlantic City, I made Ben stop to go visit Lucy the Elephant which was built in 1881!! You can visit the inside of Lucy - but kept to the outside!! ;)

First day camping - yup, in a tent!! Ben calls our camping luxurious - I call it primitive!! ;) We stayed at a small camping ground near Cape May. Great location as it is within walking distance of Cape May, but we were very close to our neighbours!!

Went for a walk and ran into this cute car!!

Downtown Cape May

A cute little grocery store in West Cape May

Can anybody help (maybe Pat??!!) on what kind of tree this is?? They were all over!!

  6. Oh! I've seen Lucy on TV--how cool that you got to see her in person! I am loving this little "mini-vacation" you are sharing with us. Can't really tell on the tree, but sycamores usually have bark like that...
