Cards and Flowers

First off, thanks so much for your wonderful comments on my photos of Ogunquit! I am sad too that I have finished editing them... it seems like I was still there while I was going through them!! Can't wait for our next trip - probably at the end of the Summer - and probably camping somewhere near a beach - will be fun to document again!! :)

I started taking more photos as I starting scrapbooking a couple of years ago. This year, I started making cards - and I love it!! I made this card and enveloppe for a girlfriend's birthday at my office this week. Did see this in a magazine and decided to play with it - loved the results!!





And as I was going through my pics, found those that I had taken when we got back from Ogunquit. The trees in the park near my house were in full bloom - it was raining a bit - and it looked like a carpet of white petals - it was sooooo beautiful!!

    Wow, that card is ADORABLE!!!! I love that idea! And you are right, the path does look like a white petal carpet! STUNNING!

    Beautiful card. I did things opposite of you--first I made cards, then I got into scrapbooking, then I got into photography. I haven't made a card or scrapped a page in months now. :-) Love those tree photos. What a beautiful scene!
