    I like the horizontal crop...shows a bit more of the surroundings.

    Never been snowshoeing. Sounds like fun. I like the second one also. It's more open to me.

    This looks so peaceful. The horizontal crop is my fav too. I would love to go snowhoeing someday! I bet is it good exercise!

    I prefer the vertical, it leads my eye right into the frame. The fence being almost centered cuts the photo in half for me on the horizontal.
