BBQ and Baking Sunday

 Beautiful weekend - sun was out - warm weather.  Love it!!

Baked these wonderful muffins Chocolate-Chip-Muffins-19379 - they smell heavenly... can't wait to take a bite!! ;)

and yesterday, Ben made these amazing burgers on our dying BBQ (had to go buy a new one today). - If you love feta cheese - you will love these burgers!!! That sauce is soooo good!! mediterranean-burgers-with-feta-cheese-421539

Apple Trees

Finally, a wonderful sign of Spring... The apple trees in the park near my home are green!!! Yessssssss!!!

The apples are dead though!!! Cold and snow will do that to you!! ;)

St-Sauveur - Nature

St-Sauveur is not only a cute village - it has some ski hills and also some beautiful nature spots!  These I took within walking distance of our chalet.

St-Sauveur Weekend

As I mentioned yesterday, to celebrate my in-laws 50th Anniversary, we spent the weekend up north, in a little chalet with close family.  It was a wonderful weekend, even if it rained (and snowed!) most of the weekend.  We did get to go for a short walk Saturday morning in St-Sauveur.  St-Sauveur is a beautiful little village with lots of shops and restaurants.   

The church is beautiful - too bad the sky was grey - will have to go back when the weather is better!

50th Anniversary

Just came back from a wonderful weekend with family.  We celebrated with my inlaws their 50th Anniversary.  For the occasion, we rented a little house up North and spent the weekend laughing, crying, eating and celebrating this wonderful event.  50 years - wow!!!

No flowers yet in my garden...

so had to buy some at the market!! :)

Arboretum
