Montreal Chinatown

Went for a walk during my lunchtime break and decided to walk through Chinatown. Don't go there very often, but after seeing all the photo opportunities there, will surely go again!!
Two big statues on each side of the street welcome you to Chinatown!

Pay it forward

On the Lake this weekend, there were some "courageous" (crazy??) guys that were skiing with a parachute on the very thin ice!!

No fish today!

As I walking off the pier, saw these guys on the Canal fishing. Still scared the ice is not strong enough but they don't seem to mind!!

Saturday was beautiful. Sunny, blue skies and not too cold (not that it shows with all the ice in my photos!!). Went for a walk and was looking forward to sitting a bit and contemplating the view... Until I saw someone took my bench!! :) Kidding! there are many other benches - just wanted to show the view you get from there!! And this is all within walking distance from my home!! Love my little city! :)

Ice Fishing

Some more photos from our walk on Lake St-Louis last Sunday. Don't think I would walk on the lake today, as it has been mild all week and probably is now dangerous to walk on it!!

They even drive their trucks on the Lake!! I wouldn't try it myself...
